Well, we worked like Trojans to set up the new Corsham shop and it was ready just in time for us to slip away for a couple of restorative days in Cornwall, so we would be all set for the grand opening on Monday 26th October! We scorched down to Carbis Bay, where the sand is soft and the sea was like turquoise glass. I can confirm that a spa, a massage and a stroll along the cliff path to St Ives was just what the doctor ordered. That and a cream tea with fizz. Not to mention a pasty.
We were sad to leave our old home of nearly seven years at Domestic Science in Tetbury, but very thrilled to be opening our new stand-alone Previous store at 54 High St, Corsham. We are still selling the quirky vintage and retro items that we are known for, but are also stocking a great range of unusual homewares, toys and accessories, as well as cards, wrap and jewellery.
…the new retail outlet selling homewares, vintage and often quirky retro items will be opening its doors in Corsham…
The fabulous new Previous Homewares store will be opening at the end of September in the beautiful and historic market town of Corsham. The town is an architectural gem, set in the lush Wiltshire countryside, it is the film location of Poldark, only a few miles from the M4, Bath, Devizes and Bradford on Avon. There is easy parking and a delightful lunch to be had at the Methuen Arms.
Previous truly is an individual store, selling a fascinating range of carefully chosen pieces, including new and vintage homewares at keen prices – fantastic and unusual gifts for family, friends, children and partners. The opening of its own retail outlet is a natural progression after several successful years as part of the ‘Domestic Science’ shop located in Tetbury and a feature in ‘Country Living’ magazine. Previous customers include: Lily Allen, Bill Nighy, Kirstie Allsopp, Jamie Dornan, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Guy Ritchie – there really is something for everyone!
